Question 1

What is PeerLens?

Accepted Answer

PeerLens is a real-time Internet path analysis platform. Unlike traditional monitoring tools, it focuses on the actual network paths and routing conditions affecting your traffic right now, hop by hop, showing where latency, packet loss, and routing changes originate beyond your network edge.

Question 2

Does PeerLens require the full EveryPeer ecosystem?

Accepted Answer

No. PeerLens runs completely on its own as a standalone diagnostic platform, with no EveryPeer account or additional infrastructure required. You can connect it to IntelliPeer and PeerBridge later, whenever you are ready to move from visibility to automatic optimization.

Question 3

How does PeerLens collect telemetry?

Accepted Answer

Two ways, and most teams run both. The PeerLens Physical Node is a compact, always-on hardware probe for offices, branches, labs, data centers, and home setups. The PeerLens Software Client Node is a lightweight, passive client for Windows with no agent load on the host, built for mobile and remote user diagnostics.

Question 4

What problems does PeerLens help solve?

Accepted Answer

PeerLens monitors path performance on every leg of every route, surfaces route flaps, hijacks, and unexpected hops the moment they appear, and pinpoints exactly where delay and loss originate: your ISP, a transit provider, or the last mile. It gives you real traceroute evidence to share with carriers, so troubleshooting goes from a war room to a named bad hop in seconds.

Question 5

Who is PeerLens built for?

Accepted Answer

Network engineers who need more than dashboard guesses, ISPs and MSPs who want to give customers proof, enterprises with business-critical traffic, data centers making peering decisions, IT professionals who want to save hours of war-room time, and network operations teams that need continuous path monitoring without blind spots.

Question 6

How is PeerLens priced?

Accepted Answer

PeerLens is a simple, predictable per-node subscription instead of the unit-based or flow-based pricing enterprise tools charge. It includes full dashboard access, live telemetry, route diagnostics and alerts, client software downloads for Windows and macOS, and a direct line to the EveryPeer support team.

Question 7

How do I get started with PeerLens?

Accepted Answer

Sign up directly at peerlens.everypeer.net or talk to our team first, choose a physical node, a software client, or both, and your dashboard is ready as soon as your account is set up. If you order a physical node, it ships within two weeks.

Question 8

What is PeerBridge?

Accepted Answer

PeerBridge is the Optimize layer of the EveryPeer ecosystem. It is a cross platform application that installs directly onto your machine, takes routing recommendations from IntelliPeer, and automatically moves your traffic over the best available path on the Internet, adjusting in real time to reduce latency, packet loss, and downtime with no manual intervention.

Question 9

Is PeerBridge available now?

Accepted Answer

Yes. PeerBridge is available to download today for Windows and macOS. It starts finding the best path for your traffic right away.

Question 10

How much does PeerBridge cost?

Accepted Answer

PeerBridge comes with a free 7 day trial and discounted early adopter pricing of $8.99 per month for a limited time.

Question 11

Do I need any hardware to run PeerBridge?

Accepted Answer

No. PeerBridge installs directly onto your Windows or macOS machine. Once installed, it continuously routes your traffic over the best available path automatically, with no hardware to deploy and no manual configuration.

Question 12

How is PeerBridge different from PeerLens?

Accepted Answer

PeerLens observes, IntelliPeer analyzes, and PeerBridge acts. PeerLens shows you hop by hop where Internet path problems are; PeerBridge takes the routing recommendations generated from that telemetry and corrects your traffic path automatically. If you already use PeerLens, PeerBridge is the natural next step from visibility to automatic optimization.

Question 13

Which platforms does PeerBridge support?

Accepted Answer

PeerBridge is available for Windows 10 and later and macOS 12 (Monterey) and later.

Question 14

Does running PeerBridge benefit the wider network?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every PeerBridge install connects back to the EveryPeer platform, feeding more telemetry into IntelliPeer and strengthening the network with every machine that joins.
