These policies govern use of the EveryPeer platform located at https://everypeer.net.
1. Terms of Service
By accessing EveryPeer you agree to these Terms.
Description of Service
EveryPeer provides internet routing analysis and telemetry visualization including:
- traceroute analysis
- ASN relationships
- network path discovery
- node-based measurements
Account Responsibilities
Users must:
- provide accurate information
- secure their credentials
- maintain account confidentiality
Users are responsible for activity under their accounts.
Node Participation
Users may register nodes that contribute measurement data.
Node operators confirm:
- they have permission to run measurement software
- they control the network environment where the node runs
- they will not generate abusive traffic
EveryPeer may disable nodes that violate these conditions.
Service Availability
EveryPeer services are provided "as is" and uptime is not guaranteed.
Network measurements may vary due to external infrastructure.
Limitation of Liability
EveryPeer is not liable for:
- indirect damages
- service interruptions
- network anomalies
- loss of data
- financial loss
2. Acceptable Use Policy
EveryPeer must not be used for:
- denial-of-service attacks
- unauthorized scanning
- malware distribution
- exploitation of vulnerabilities
- harvesting personal data
EveryPeer is intended for network diagnostics and research only.
Accounts engaged in abuse may be suspended or terminated.
3. Node Operator Agreement
Node operators contribute network telemetry to EveryPeer.
Operators agree to:
- run the node software responsibly
- ensure measurement traffic remains minimal
- comply with ISP and network policies
- not manipulate measurement results
EveryPeer may suspend nodes producing abnormal traffic patterns.
Operators may disconnect nodes at any time.
4. API Terms of Use
EveryPeer APIs allow programmatic access to network telemetry data.
Users agree:
- not to abuse rate limits
- not to redistribute proprietary datasets without permission
- not to attempt to disrupt the service
EveryPeer may revoke API access at any time.
5. Research Data Disclaimer
EveryPeer network data may be used for:
- academic research
- infrastructure analysis
- network monitoring
However:
- routing paths change frequently
- measurements may be incomplete
- conclusions drawn from telemetry are the responsibility of the user
EveryPeer makes no guarantee regarding accuracy.
